Wrist.

Privacy policy

Last updated 9 October 2026.

Wrist is made by Distyll (Morgan Atkins, United Kingdom). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the Wrist app for iPhone and Apple Watch.

The short version

We don't collect your data. Wrist has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your captures stay on your iPhone unless you choose to send them somewhere.

What stays on your devices

When data leaves your device

Only when you turn it on:

Permissions

Wrist asks for the microphone (to record), speech recognition (to transcribe on device), Reminders (only when you send to-dos there) and local network (only to reach a model server you run). You can change these in Settings at any time.

Children

Wrist isn't directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete any capture in the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your iPhone and Watch. Device backups follow your iCloud or computer backup settings. Content you sent to your own model provider, Reminders, Obsidian or another app is governed by that service.

Changes and contact
